President and Chief Executive Officer
Tony Will
Tony Will has served as the president and chief executive officer and as a member of the board of directors of CF Industries Holdings, Inc. since January 2014. Mr. Will joined CF Industries in 2007 as vice president, corporate development. He was promoted to vice president, manufacturing and distribution in 2009 and senior vice president, manufacturing and distribution in 2012.
Mr. Will is a member of the Business Roundtable, steering member of the Hydrogen Council, Chair of the International Fertilizer Association, and serves on the executive board of The Fertilizer Institute and the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers.
In September 2021, Mr. Will was elected to the board of directors of Olin Corporation as an independent director.
Prior to joining CF Industries, Mr. Will was a partner at Accenture Ltd., a global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Sears, Roebuck and Company, Fort James Corporation, and Boston Consulting Group.
Mr. Will holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and an M.M. degree (M.B.A.) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Legal Advisor
Doug Barnard
Doug Barnard was named executive vice president, corporate development and legal advisor, in July 2023. He joined the Company in January 2004 and served as its general counsel and secretary for nearly 20 years. Mr. Barnard informed the Company in July 2023 that he will retire from CF Industries on January 12, 2024.
Prior to joining CF Industries, Mr. Barnard was an executive vice president and general counsel of Bcom3 Group, Inc. Earlier, he served as a partner at the law firm of Kirkland and Ellis and, prior to that, vice president, general counsel and secretary of LifeStyle Furnishings International Ltd. Mr. Barnard holds a B.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Chris Bohn
Chris Bohn is CF Industries’ executive vice president and chief financial officer. He was named chief financial officer in September 2019. Mr. Bohn previously served as senior vice president, manufacturing and distribution, from 2015-2019, as vice president, supply chain, from 2014-2015 and as vice president, corporate planning, from 2010-2014. He joined CF Industries in September 2009 as director, corporate planning and analysis.
Prior to joining CF Industries, Mr. Bohn served as chief financial officer for Hess Print Solutions. Earlier in his career, he was vice president global financial planning and analysis for Merisant Worldwide, Inc.
Mr. Bohn earned his BS degree in Finance at Indiana University and also holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Vice President, Public Affairs
Linda Dempsey
Linda M. Dempsey was named vice president, public affairs, of CF Industries in February 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global public affairs function. Prior to joining CF, Ms. Dempsey was vice president, international economic affairs, for the National Association of Manufacturers, and has previous experience with business associations, as a senior trade advisor on Capitol Hill and as an attorney in private practice.
She holds a BA in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University and a JD from the University of California at Berkley.
Executive Vice President, Sales, Market Development and Supply Chain
Bert Frost
Bert Frost is executive vice president, sales, market development and supply chain. He joined CF Industries in November 2008.
Previously, he was with Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), one of the world's largest agricultural processors, where he had served as managing director, international fertilizer and inputs, based in Switzerland since early in 2008. Earlier, he was director of the fertilizer, logistics, and ports divisions for ADM based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Frost holds a B.S. degree in business from Kansas State University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.
Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Distribution
Ashraf Malik
Ashraf Malik is senior vice president, manufacturing and distribution, a role he assumed in September 2019, with accountability for the company’s manufacturing, corporate engineering, environmental health and safety, and distribution facilities. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president, site operations, since 2012. Mr. Malik has more than 30 years of experience within the chemicals industry, having worked in senior roles for GrowHow UK, Terra Industries and ICI PLC.
He is a member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, London, and the UK Engineering Council. He is a chartered engineer and holds a first class honors degree in Control, Instrumentation & Systems Engineering from The City University, London.
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mike McGrane
Mike McGrane was named vice president, general counsel and secretary of CF Industries in July 2023. He joined CF Industries in 2011 as associate general counsel and assistant secretary and was also appointed chief compliance officer in 2016. Prior to joining CF Industries, Mr. McGrane was an attorney at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, where his practice concentrated on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate governance, and general corporate and securities law matters. Mr. McGrane holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
Sue Menzel
Sue Menzel was named executive vice president and chief administrative officer in July 2023, overseeing CF Industries' human resources, information technology and legal functions. She joined the Company as senior vice president, human resources, in October 2017.
Prior to joining CF Industries, Ms. Menzel served as executive vice president, human resources for CNO Financial Group. Prior to CNO, she served as senior vice president, human resources for APAC Customer Services, Inc., and in roles of increasing responsibility for Sears, Roebuck & Company and Montgomery Ward, Inc.
Ms. Menzel holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Augustana College.
