Product Stewardship

Our product stewardship efforts are focused on enhancing the value of our products to society while minimizing negative safety, health, and environmental impacts over the entire product lifecycle. Our products play an important role in preserving biodiversity on the farm, off-site, and globally.

CF Industries is working to boost the adoption and measurement of proper nutrient stewardship practices throughout the food value chain. We believe this effort will help ensure our business is sustainable and contribute to the protection of water resources, soil health, and biodiversity.

Case Study

Donaldsonville Early Education Program

Our flagship Donaldsonville Complex has called Ascension Parish, Louisiana home for nearly 60 years. Over the years, we have been dedicated to giving back and making meaningful, long-term impacts by supporting critical pillars of the Ascension Parish community, such as local education.

CF Industries has adopted five Donaldsonville public schools through the Ascension Parish Schools’ Partner-in-Education Program. This partnership has helped us make connections and provide employee mentors for students who are interested in STEM careers.

This past year, CF Industries also invested $1 million in the Ascension Parish Early Childhood Development Center to further demonstrate our commitment to local communities. CF Industries views our communities as extended family and we work hard to prioritize their wellbeing.
