Reports

We publish annually a comprehensive report of our activities from the previous year. Our Annual Reports typically include commentary and importance to our stakeholders as well as the 10-K Report we file with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In 2021, CF Industries began publishing an ESG Report, which is tailored to the information needs of shareholders and other capital market participants. The 2022 report has been written in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards (Comprehensive option) and includes a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Index with industryspecific disclosures. Reporting is also in line with recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). GRI, SASB, and TCFD disclosures, as well as alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), are referenced throughout this report with detailed indices published in the Appendix.

CF Industries 2022: Sustainability in Action provides an overview of our Company’s sustainability leadership in 2022 and is relevant to all stakeholders, including the individuals, policymakers, organizations, and communities who touch CF Industries’ business and are critical to its success. The information included illustrates the role CF Industries plays in addressing wide-reaching challenges facing our world, our mission to provide clean energy to feed and fuel the world sustainably, and the progress we are making in the critical areas of environment, safety, workforce, and community.

Our annual Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) Report documents our journey and progress in building a culture of belonging that elevates diverse perspectives and creates an inclusive, equitable working environment. This means we are committed to being a company where all employees feel safe to respectfully voice their ideas and bring their full authentic selves to work...to feel seen, heard, and valued.

To increase our ID&E transparency, we make our most recently filed U.S. Federal Employer Information Report EEO-1 available for download below. The EEO-1 is a required annual disclosure for all companies that meet specific criteria.  While the report details the Company’s U.S. employment data by gender and several racial and ethnic categories, the limited job categories in the EEO-1 submissions are not reflective of our workforce, organizational structure or compensation system. 

We believe in supporting great causes with both our time and money. But we also believe it's important for you to know what those causes are. That's why we publish a semi-annual report itemizing our charitable contributions that exceed $20,000 in that time period. We provide additional educational and local support that does not meet this threshold. 

We are active participants in the political process, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with government decision makers and informing policy and decision makers of our views on issues. Our political contributions reports are designed to provide insight on corporate expenditures related to our advocacy efforts. The reports include details on political contributions the company makes, if any, as well as the portion of our annual dues to trade associations and other similar non-profit organizations that are used for advocacy or other political activities.
